Spruce up the garden
It can be hard to maintain your garden during the winter months, but now summer is here, there are no excuses. Even just mowing the lawn and tidying the trees/ shrubs up a little bit will ensure the garden is BBQ ready whenever you are!
Consider adding some solar fairy lights to give your borders a bit of extra added sparkle, and invest in some outdoor pillows and blankets to keep it feeling cosy on the cooler summer nights.
A lick of paint
It’s really easy to put off painting the walls, but it makes a huge difference to your home internally. Using colours such as magnolia, white and even light greys, will make rooms look much bigger and brighter.
Consider swapping out wintery-coloured soft furnishings, for more summery feeling hues to add a pop of colour to any room!
In the past few years, through multiple lockdowns, many people have added external living spaces in the form of decked areas, pergolas, and pub sheds. Adding an outdoor sitting area can give your property and garden a super inviting and warm feel. Creating zones in your garden can really give the illusion of extra room.
